What are the preparations for industrial endoscopy before use?

Industrial endoscopy technology requires compactness and flexibility in the mechanical casting industry. For the parts to be inspected are relatively small holes, which requires the endoscope camera lens to be smaller, flexible and easy to insert; the video display is more intuitive and clear. For the deep hole, blind hole, staggered hole, inside the casting body, inject sand in the casting sand and burrs must be clear at a glance.
However, due to the complexity of the various detection environments,To maximize industrial endoscopes ‘s role, preparations before testing should not be underestimated.
1. Carefully inspect the outer surface of the endoscope camera before testing
Observe the outer surface of the endoscope camera under sufficient illumination. The surface of the endoscope camera should be smooth. The surface of the plated parts should be uniform. There should be no obvious scratches, visible cracks, pinholes, spots, burrs or sprays. The surface should be smooth and even, the color should be uniform, and there should be no blistering, peeling and cracking of the bottom.

2.Select the appropriate observation distance and angle of  the endoscope camera
It was proved that in order to obtain good image quality, the industrial endoscope camera lens is often required to be as close as possible to the observation point. For example, within a range of 5 to 25 mm from the detection area. In addition, the angle between the lens and the observation object also affects the detection effect. Generally, the ideal detection effect can be  within the range of 45 ゚ to 90 ,. In the actual work, the best in the above range can be found by adjusting the probe posture, angle position for optimal detection.

3. Adjust the illumination intensity according to the endoscope camera detection area
Endoscopy is usually applied to areas where the tester does not easily enter or can not be directly observed by the human eye. These areas are usually narrow, or the path is curved, and the lighting conditions are not good. Therefore, most industrial endoscope camera are equipped with a light source. Under normal conditions, the  the illumination source of endoscope camera is required to  not less than 5600K, and the illumination intensity is not less than 2600lm. Of course, depending on the type of industrial endoscope camera used, it can also be adjusted appropriately.
