The illumination adopts the LED to be directly illuminated at the shaft end; the advantage is that the manufacturing cost is relatively low and has nothing to do with the axial length, the screen observation is easy, and the photo and video can be stored for offline analysis; the disadvantage is that the photosensitive chip is located at the axial end. The inner diameter of the endoscope is 1/18". The minimum sensitivity of the sensor chip is only 5.5mm ( withstand 10m water pressure and integrated with high-brightness LED light). If the reliability requirement is properly reduced, it can be 3.8mm. In addition, the environmental resistance is poor, the temperature and the shock resistance are not as good as those of the optical endoscope, so it cannot be applied to various occasions. 

Principle of nondestructive testing of industrial endoscope camera
